Terms of Service
Last updated September 26, 2026
These terms cover your use of the BullFrog app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use BullFrog.
Not financial advice
BullFrog is a research and information tool. Nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency or other asset. We are not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser or a financial planner, and we don't know your full financial situation.
Prices, fundamentals, news, analyst data, calendars and AI-written summaries come from third-party sources and automated analysis. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Backtests and other analysis describe the past and don't predict the future. Check anything you rely on with the issuer or your broker before you act. Investment decisions, and their results, are yours.
Who can use BullFrog
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to form a binding contract where you live.
Your account
Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile, then Settings (the gear icon), then Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains what that removes.
Linked brokerage accounts
You can choose to link a brokerage account through our partner Plaid, so your holdings and trades appear in BullFrog. The connection is read-only: BullFrog can't place trades or move money. By linking an account, you confirm you're allowed to access it, and you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Imported data may be incomplete or delayed. Your brokerage's own statements are the record of what you hold.
Plans and subscriptions
BullFrog has a free plan and BullFrog Pro, a paid subscription at $9.99 a month (or the local price shown in the App Store). The free plan shows ads.
- Free trial. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Billing. Subscriptions are bought through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the trial ends.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your BullFrog account doesn't cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Changes. We may change prices or what each plan includes. A price increase won't apply to you before your next renewal, and Apple will tell you about it first.
If BullFrog becomes available on Android, subscriptions bought there are billed through Google Play under the same terms, and are managed and refunded through Google Play.
Ads
Ads on the free plan are served by Google AdMob and come from third-party advertisers. We don't choose, check or endorse them. An ad for a broker, fund, crypto product or anything else is not a recommendation from BullFrog, and anything you buy or sign up for through an ad is between you and the advertiser. The Privacy Policy explains what data ads use and how to control personalization.
Beta and new features
Some features are marked beta or are offered through TestFlight before release. They may change, break or be removed, and beta badges and rewards have no cash value.
Using BullFrog fairly
Don't:
- get around plan limits or security measures,
- scrape, copy, resell or redistribute the data in the app, which is licensed from third parties for your personal, non-commercial use,
- interfere with or overload the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows,
- click, view or interact with ads in a way that isn't genuine, or use scripts, bots or other tools to generate ad clicks or impressions, or
- use BullFrog to break the law, including securities laws, or to mislead others.
Your feedback
If you send us bug reports, suggestions or other feedback, we may use it to improve BullFrog without owing you anything for it.
Our rights
BullFrog, including the app, its design, the Pip mascot and the BullFrog name, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and, for the iPhone app, under Apple's usage rules.
Availability
We work to keep BullFrog running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free, to the extent the law allows. Market data sources can go down or change without notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, BullFrog and its makers are not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from using or relying on BullFrog. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending things
You can stop using BullFrog and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why first.
Apple
If you got BullFrog from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the app's purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm you're not in a country subject to a US government embargo, and you're not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and can enforce them against you.
Where these terms don't cover something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top. If you keep using BullFrog after that, you accept the new terms.
